Biserno

Biserno is our flagship wine, our namesake and the symbol of the estate.  A classic Bordeaux blend, the grapes come from our very best vineyards and are perfectly suited to creating the Biserno style.  The resulting wine is remarkable, with a combination of qualities rarely found in a wine: finesse, elegance, complexity, voluptuousness, intensity, length and freshness.

Produced in equal parts from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, with a small amount of Petit Verdot.

TASTING NOTES

A deep, intense colour. A complex nose, with rich and ripe flavours of plums, dark berries and a little spicy oak. Fullbodied with a backbone of dense ripe tannins and a long, fine finish.
